New Detroit Rep play, St. Patrick’s Day and more events this weekend

Here’s hoping you hopped from 313 Day right into a tasty piece of “Pi” this week!

We’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday from Corktown all the way to County Cork, Ireland by searching for pots of gold, pints of beer and family-friendly celebrations at the end of the rainbow. Catch me wearing green while grooving out to swing, blues and Irish music and celebrating my Gaelic roots at events across the city!

P.S. Remember that fashion exhibition featuring “Black Panther” costumes designed by Ruth E. Carter ? (Yep, the one with Angela Bassett’s dress.) Make sure to go check it out at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History before it closes on March 31. What a perfect way to round out Women’s History Month.

    Let’s get busy! <3
