Watch: Documenting the Documenters

The Detroit Documenters are a group of more than 500 Detroiters working together to help make Detroit a city we all deserve — participatory, transparent and accountable. Documenters are trained and paid to attend public meetings and take notes. They also take special assignments that help us understand the city better and participate in it more fully.
