Parents reunited with child found wandering in Detroit

(CBS DETROIT) - The Detroit Police Department says a child found wandering Friday afternoon has been reunited with family.

DPD says an investigation is ongoing.

Police were searching for the parents after the child was found at about 5:25 p.m. in the area of Washburn and Cambridge.

The child was described as 2 feet 6 inches tall, about 40 pounds, wearing a purple shirt, brown pants with butterflies on them, and purple light-up shoes.

this will actually be a good thing in the long run- now the little girl is on the radar the family will be looked at!

Who let's their little kid be out like that without being with them? That's pure child neglect. At least the police were able to come to his rescue because that could have gone so wrong since there's so many crazy people out in this world. Hopefully, the parents or guardian will be located and justice will be served.
