The Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of a major roster upheaval after bringing in 9-time All-Star Paul George in free agency. The Sixers also brought in veterans like Eric Gordon and Andre Drummond which signaled a change in Philadelphia.

Tobias Harris, who signed a 5-year max deal with the Sixers in the 2019 offseason, is a player who will not return to the City of Brotherly Love.

Harris will sign a 2-year $52 million deal with the Detroit Pistons. He played with the Pistons from 2016 through 2018 before he was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers in the Blake Griffin deal so he will have some familiarity in his new home.

In 5.5 seasons with the Sixers, Harris averaged 17.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting 48.8% from the floor and 36.9% from deep. His numbers were always solid and he was a great presence in the locker room. Unfortunately, he was never really able to live up to the max contract the Sixers gave him.
