Things to do this weekend in Detroit: July 12-14

Art, food and high temperatures are in the forecast across the city this weekend.

• Here's what's going on:

🥂 Celebrate 20 years of Obie Trice's debut album "Cheers" at Art Park from 7-11pm Saturday. Cannabis vendors and food trucks will complement the laid-back vibes.

🌍 Attend the African World Festival from Friday through Sunday, with headliners including rapper Rapsody, reggae-fusion band Third World and the Urban Art Orchestra with De'Sean Jones.
