    1. Plymouth’s Art In The Park

    Now in its 44th year, Plymouth’s Art In The Park returns this weekend to welcome over 400 artists from around the U.S. offering paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, woodwork, photography, folk art and more. This 3-day event assembles artists who will display their work to nearly 300,000 shoppers! Entertainment and cuisine will complement the art exhibitors, creating a sensory filled experience. Attend Michigan’s 2nd largest art fair for a weekend-long celebration of art, food and fun!

    Friday, July 12 - Sunday, July 14 in Downtown Plymouth

    2. Blake's Lavender Festival

    Blake's Annual Lavender Market returns over the next two weekends. Immerse yourself in Blake’s tranquil orchards and stroll the open-air marketplace featuring 200+ Michigan artisans! Sip on a refreshing lavender lemonade or ice cream while enjoying a homemade lavender treat. Returning this year, Blake’s Hard Cider Co. and Blake’s Brewing Co. will be featuring our limited, seasonal lavender-infused hard cider and beer. Both can be found on tap in the Tasting Room and Orchard Square Tap.

    3. The Oddities & Curiosities Expo

    Get a little weird this weekend in Metro Detroit! The Oddities & Curiosities Expo showcases hand selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses from all over the country that sell all-things strange. You’ll find items such as taxidermy, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities and much more. There’s truly something weird for everyone! Outside of the curated vendors, sideshow performers will take the stage all throughout day for your entertainment!

    4. 2024 Detroit Kite Festival

    Trying to find a way to get outdoors this weekend in Detroit? Let’s go fly a kite! The 2024 Detroit Kite Festival returns to Belle Isle on Sunday, and Detroiters are ready to take to the skies. Enjoy a selection of food, music, drinks and of course, kite flying, at Cricket Field on Belle Isle. Bring your own kite or purchase one on-site to get in on the action. The high-flying fun happens from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

    5. Made + Found Night Market

    Get ready to eat, drink and shop this weekend at the first Made + Found Night Market happening at the Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township! Spend your Friday evening shopping from 75+ local vendors, and enjoy a delicious dinner from a food truck all while you sip on an adult beverage and listen to live music. There will also be other activities and entertainment happening all across the market, with fun for all ages. Entry is $5 per person and parking is free.
