    The weekend weather looks ideal to get out and enjoy summer while it lasts!

    • Here's what's going on:

    🌎 Jam out at the Concert of Colors , the city's free annual global music festival. Performances β€” here's the lineup β€” are on the Detroit Institute of Arts' lawn and various other locations.

    • Thursday-Sunday.
    • No tickets are required for outdoor stages. Shows in the Detroit Film Theatre require online registration .

    πŸ“– Indulge your inner bookworm at the 7th Annual Detroit Festival of Books . Vinyl records, comic books, vintage board games and other stuff will also be on sale.

    • Sunday, 10am-4pm, at Eastern Market, Shed 5.
    • Free!

    🎨 Spend a day at the famous Ann Arbor Art Fair , featuring nearly 1,000 artists across a 30-block footprint of downtown Ann Arbor .

    • Thursday-Saturday, starting at 10am each day.
    • Free!

    πŸ›οΈ Take a tour of Michigan Central Station , the iconic train depot that recently reopened in Corktown.

    • Friday, 5-9pm; Saturday, 10am-2pm.
    • Free!

    ✈️ Check out the Thunder Over Michigan Air Show at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti β€” a family-friendly event with aerial performances and on-the-ground exhibits.

    • Saturday and Sunday.
    • Tickets start at $55 . General admission is sold out on Saturday. Kids 15 and younger get in free. Parking is extra.

    🀣 Listen and laugh at true stories of parties gone wrong from seven comedians at " Tales from the 313: Party Animals. "

    • Friday, 9-10:30pm, at the Independent Comedy Club in Hamtramck.
    • Tickets start at $10.

    🎻 Venture to Clark Park in Southwest Detroit for the Culture and Arts Festival with musicians from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and more.
