    Detroit Tigers pitcher Jack Flaherty.

The MLB season gets back underway on Friday with a full slate of games to lead us into the weekend, meaning our Look of the Day series is finally returning. Let's kick off another winning streak with a first-five-innings play for Friday's MLB action.

Look of the Day: Detroit Tigers moneyline first five innings (+100 DraftKings )

The Tigers are taking on the Toronto Blue Jays in an American League battle this Friday, and we're looking to back Detroit to get out to an early lead in this one.

This is a great price with such a massive pitching advantage for the Tigers. Starter Jack Flaherty has given up one run or fewer in five of his last six starts. He now ranks in the 89th percentile in xERA (2.91), the 94th percentile in strikeout rate (32.1 percent) and the 94th percentile in whiff rate (33.3 percent). He also has a great history against this lineup, as current Blue Jays hitters are batting just .150 with a .271 xwOBA against the right-hander.

On the other side, current Tigers hitters are batting .345 with a .395 xwOBA and a .568 xSLG in 62 combined at-bats against Chris Bassitt. Detroit ranks fifth in MLB in batting average, fourth in wOBA and fourth in wRC+ against righties in July.

The Tigers should be favorites to win the first five innings in this matchup, so we'll gladly take the underdog price.
