TJ Hockenson left a sour taste in the mouths of many Lions fans after being traded to the Minnesota Vikings midway through the 2022 NFL season.

Hockenson, the No. 8 overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, made headlines shortly after arriving in Minnesota for what many fans felt was a subtle shot taken at his former team.

" That's really what we're here to do is go somewhere and win some games," Hockenson said in November 2022, via NFL.com. "That's kind of the first time I've been able to say that."

Earlier this week, Hockenson was asked during an appearance on the Bussin' With The Boys Podcast whether he felt any bitterness towards the Lions over their successful 2023 season - one where Detroit captured its first division title in over 30 years.

His response is worth the listen.

"Not crazy, but you see it and you're like woah. What's going on?" Hockenson said.

Traded to Minnesota after Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season, Hockenson did experience some early victories as a member of his new squad. With that said, though, the veteran tight end has still yet to be part of a playoff-game winning-squad.

His reaction to the Lions' most successful season since 1993 has fans recalling his viral quote after joining Minnesota.

"How is playing and winning those big games workin out for ya Teej?" Ryan asked.

Hockenson and the Vikings will host the Lions on Oct. 20 in a matchup that could have a major impact on the NFC North race later in the year.
