    Have you seen LaNiyah? Police searching for 14-year-old girl, missing since she left her Detroit home on Sunday

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for tips as they search for a 14-year-old girl who disappeared from her home over the weekend.

    According to a missing person's report, LaNiyah Davis Morris was last seen at her home, in the 18900 block of Huntington St. in Detroit, before she left sometime before 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 21.

    When she didn't return, she was reported missing on Monday.

    Morris is described as a Black female, 5 feet tall and weighing 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

    She was last seen wearing a black bonnet, white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and red shoes.

    Anyone who has seen this missing child, or who knows where she may be, is asked to call Commander Dietrich Lever of the Detroit Police Department's 8th Precinct at 313-596-5840.
