    MSP: Undercover detective shot at in Detroit; no injuries reported

    A Michigan State Police detective was shot at in Detroit while working undercover on Friday morning, the state agency announced.

    The detective was shot at while driving on Curt Street near Van Dyke Street at 7:50 a.m., according to state police. The detective and the police vehicle were not hit. No other details were immediately available.

    The incident occurred less than a week after a suspect shot and killed 26-year-old Melvindale Police Officer Mohamed Said on Sunday.

    Said was responding to a call near a gas station on Oakwood Boulevard and Dix Road when he was fatally shot.
