DETROIT (WWJ) — Police in Detroit are asking for help from the community finding an armed robbery suspect.

Detroit police officials on Friday released photos of a man inside a store. They say he’s responsible for an armed robbery on Thursday, July 18 in the 9400 block of Woodward Avenue — just south of Chicago Boulevard near the Arden Park neighborhood.

Authorities have not released many details about the robbery, including whether it took place inside the store or if it happened nearby.

The suspect, seen in the surveillance photos wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black hat over short dreadlocks, allegedly fled the scene in a white Ford Fusion, according to police.

All Crime Stoppers and Detroit Rewards TV tipsters will remain 100% anonymous.

Another able bodied individual that can work but rather instead rob and be a thief in the neighborhood store where you (yourself) probably go all the time. You make it hard for you and us that's trying to live honest and responsible lives out here.
