Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown has no love for Packers, Falcons fans

When asked which teams in the NFL had the worst fans, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown chose one you'd expect, but he also had negative things to say about another.

St. Brown was a guest on "Hot Ones Versus" along with Las Vegas Raiders wideout Davante Adams and was asked for his opinion on the worst fan bases in the NFL.

As you'd expect, St. Brown chose the division rival Green Bay Packers ' — although he did give them props for being good fans for their team — but he also chose the Atlanta Falcons for one very specific reason.

"I hate the Packers' fans," St. Brown said. "Just because it's Green Bay, I play for Detroit. But I think some of the worst fans was the Falcons. When we played them my rookie year, no one was there. Terrible... I hate Green Bay, their fans. They have good fans for the team, but I hate them. But is there that much to do in Atlanta? I don't know, because ain't nobody going to the game."

As St. Brown notes, he played in Atlanta against the Falcons during his rookie year in 2021, a game that saw him total nine catches for 91 yards and a touchdown during a stretch run of the season that really catapulted him to another level in his career.

At the time, the Falcons were 6-8 (they would win that game to go to 7-8) and were having a poor season, so that might have been a reason attendance was lackluster.

Unfortunately for Falcons fans, they won't get an opportunity to let St. Brown hear it in 2024, as Atlanta is not on Detroit's schedule, home or away.
