The Detroit Lions saw a pair of injuries during their second padded practice of training camp on Tuesday, but one of them appears to be more serious.

According to Justin Rogers of the Detroit Football Network , defensive end John Cominsky suffered a right leg injury and trainers rushed out "in a hurry" to tend to him.

Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com added that Cominsky got rolled up on and the cart was brought out for him. The Lions later revealed that it is a right knee injury but the extent of the damage remains unknown.

History tells us that the cart is a bad sign, but teams have been bringing it out even for less serious injuries in recent years, so there's hope yet that Cominsky has avoided something major. We should know more after practice.

Cominsky wasn't the only player to get banged-up at practice on Tuesday, though, as center Frank Ragnow had a lower-leg issue, per Rogers . Thankfully, Ragnow only needed a short breather before being able to re-take the field.
