    Police searching for 39-year-old woman who disappeared after being discharged from Detroit Receiving Hospital a week ago

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from anyone who may have seen a 39-year-old woman who went missing a week ago in the city.

    According to investigators, Latasha Cole spoke with her family on Thursday, July 25, when she said she as being discharged from Detroit Receiving Hospital, located at 4201 St Antoine.

    She did not return to her home, in the 19600 block of Mackay St., and her family did not hear from her again.

    Cole is described as a Black female, 5'10'' tall and weighing 140 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. There is no description of her clothing at this time.

    According to her family, Cole lives with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and depression.

    Anyone who has seen this missing person, or who knows where she may be, is asked to call Commander Matthew Fulgenzi of the Detroit Police Department's 3rd Precinct at 313-596-5340.
