    Days are numbered if you're still looking to research who is on your ballot for the Aug. 6 primary election. The Detroit Free Press Voter Guide is the place to find quick information about the election, including which congressional and state house districts you get to vote for. Here’s a guide on what district you fall in and who’s on your ballot:

    US House of Representatives

    Michigan has 13 U.S. House seats but only eight are expected to be competitive. Find your district and representative here.

    District 1: Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula

    Two Democrats and two Republicans are on the ballot vying for their party’s spot in the primary election on Aug. 6. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 3: Grand Rapids, Grand Haven and Muskegon

    Two Democrats and two Republicans are on the ballot vying for their party’s spot in the primary election on Aug. 6. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 4: West Michigan, from Holland south to Benton Harper, east to Battle Creek

    Two Republicans, incumbent U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga and Brendan Muir, are running in the Aug. 6 primary to advance to the Nov. 5 general election to run against the unopposed Jessica Swartz. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 8: Genesee, Bay and Saginaw counties and Midland city

    Three Democrats and three Republicans are on the ballot vying for their party’s spot in the primary election on Aug. 6 for a shot at filling the seat of retiring Democrat U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee on Nov. 5. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 10: Southern Macomb County, Rochester and Rochester Hills in Oakland County

    Four Democrats are competing for their party’s spot on the Aug. 6 primary ballot in the hopes of taking the seat of Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. John James, who is running unopposed in the primary. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 11: Southeastern Oakland County

    U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens has one opponent in the Aug. 6 primary and two Republicans are vying for their party’s place on the Nov. 5 general election ballot. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 12: Parts of Wayne and Oakland counties, including Detroit, Dearborn Heights, Livonia and Southfield

    Incumbent U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib has no opposition in the Aug. 6 primary; her Nov. 5 general election opponent will be decided in the Republican primary, of which there are two candidates. Read more about the candidates here.

    District 13: Most of Wayne County, including Detroit and the Grosse Pointes

    Incumbent U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar has two Democrat opponents in the Aug. 6 primary. Republican candidate Martell D. Bivings has no opponent in the primary election and will be on the general election ballot on Nov. 5. Read more about the candidates here.

    Michigan House of Representatives

    The Free Press voter guide includes competitive primaries in metro Detroit districts. There are 110 seats up for grabs in the state House of Representatives. Democrats control both chambers of the Michigan Legislature, for the first time in 40 years. To hold the majority, Democrats will have to maintain their 56-54 majority. But, first, the primary election will help determine which candidates each party puts up.     House District 1: Wayne County, including Ecorse, River Rouge and Northeast Detroit

    Two Democrats and one Republican are on the ballot for the Aug. 6 primary. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 3: Wayne County, including Dearborn

    Three Democrats are vying for their party's spot in the Aug. 6 primary election. The winner of that race will oppose the only Republican candidate, Richard A. Zeile. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 5: Oakland County, including Royal Oak Charter Township and Oak Park

    Four Democrats are on the Aug. 6 primary ballot. The winner of that race will oppose the only Republican candidate, Will Sears. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 7: Wayne County, including Hamtramck and Highland Park

    Three Democrats and two Republicans are on the Aug. 6 primary ballot. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 8: Oakland County, including Ferndale and part of Highland Park

    Two Democrats are on the ballot for the Aug. 6 primary election, including Rep. Helena Scott, who is currently the representative of District 7, which will be part of District 8 during this election cycle per redistricting earlier this year. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 9: Wayne County, including most of Detroit and part of Grosse Pointe Park

    Three Democrats are running on the ticket for the Aug. 6 primary; the winner of the race will face the unopposed Republican candidate, Michele Lundgren. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 10: Wayne County, including Gross Pointe, Gross Pointe Farms, Gross Pointe Woods and Harper Woods

    Two Democrats are on the ballot for the Aug. 6 primary election. One of the candidates, Veronica Paiz, was elected to represent the 11 th House District and is now running for the 10 th post-redistricting. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 12: Parts of Macomb and Wayne counties, including Eastpointe

    Three Democrats are running on the ticket for the Aug. 6 primary election, including incumbent Rep. Kimberly Edwards. The winner of the primary election will face Republican candidate Randell J. Shafer. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 13: Macomb County, including Roseville and St. Clair Shores

    Four Democrats, including incumbent Rep. Mai Xong and former District 22 Rep. Richard M. Steenland, are running in the Aug. 6 primary election. Three Republicans are on the ticket for the primary election. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 14: Parts of Macomb and Oakland counties, including Center Line, Hazel Park and Madison Heights

    Two Democrats, including Rep. Mike McFall currently serving his first term as 8 th District state representative, which was part of the most recent redistricting effort, are on the ballot for the Aug. 6 primary election.     House District 16: Wayne County, including Dearborn Heights

    Two Democrats, including incumbent Rep. Stephanie A. Young, are on the ballot for the Aug. 6 primary. The winner will face Republican candidate Brian Duggan. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 20: Oakland County, including Orchard Lake Village and parts of West Bloomfield Township

    Two Republicans are running on the Aug. 6 primary election ballot. The winner will face incumbent Democrat Rep. Noah Arbit in the general election on Nov. 5. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 22: Wayne County, including Plymouth Charter Township, Plymouth and parts of Northville

    House District 23: Livingston, Washtenaw and Wayne counties, including parts of Ann Arbor, Superior Charter Township and Salem

    House District 27: Wayne County, including Wyandotte, Trenton, Riverview and part of Southgate

    House District 28: Parts of Monroe and Wayne counties, including Woodhaven, Flat Rock, Charter Township of Berlin and Rockwood

    House District 51: Oakland County, including Milford, Highland, Commerce and White Lake Charter townships

    Two Democrats are fighting for a spot in the House in the Aug. 6 primary election. The winner will face third-term Republican incumbent Rep. Mark Tisdel in the general election on Nov. 5. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 57: Macomb and Oakland counties, including parts of Sterling Heights and Troy

    Three Democrats are fighting to challenge Republican incumbent Rep. Thomas Kuhn for this seat. Read about the candidates here.

    House District 58: Macomb County, including Sterling Heights, Utica and parts of Warren

    House District 59: Macomb County, including Macomb and most of Shelby Township
