Kamala Harris Shuts Down Protester At Rally ‘If You Want Donald Trump To Win Say THAT — Otherwise I’M Speaking!’

Vice President Kamala Harris sternly shut down a protester who disrupted her rally, noting that while everyone deserves a voice, “I’m speaking now!” and that former President Donald Trump winning might not be the activist’s ideal outcome.

Since news broke that Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) would be the VP nominee, the duo have been on a breakneck campaign stretch that put them in Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon and Detroit, Michigan on Wednesday night.

During a rally before a spirited Detroit crowd, Vice President Harris dealt with a heckler with a mixture of empathy and firmness in a moment that the crowd ate up, drawing huge applause and chants of “Not going back!”:

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: And please do check out project 2025 because I’m telling you it is a plan–

It is a plan to weaken America’s middle class project 2025. If he is elected.

HECKLER: (inaudible).

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: I’m here because we believe in democracy. Everyone’s voice matters.

But I am speaking now.

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: So project 2025.

Look, if he is elected, Donald Trump intends to give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations.

He intends to cut Social Security and Medicare. He intends to surrender our fight against the climate crisis, and he intends to end the Affordable Care Act.

HECKLER: (INAUDIBLE)

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that! Otherwise I’m speaking!

CROWD: (CHEERS) NOT GOING BACK! NOT GOING BACK! NOT GOING BACK! NOT GOING BACK!

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS: And I got–. And we’re not going back. We’re not going–.
