Trouble looms over Poteet’s Place 3 replacement
The seat for Place 3 in Poteet City Council remains unfilled after the passing of the late Rick Flores Sr., and the process to fill the seat has taken a turn recently. While discussing the matter during the Poteet City Council meeting last week, councilmember Nick Vasquez left the meeting after his motion to appoint a candidate through an application process wasn’t seconded. As a result, the quorum was broken and the meeting was adjourned.

Children of all ages participated in the playful battle against law enforcement.
