Rite Aid has announced more store closings in this state than any other
Rite Aid has been closing hundreds of stores since it filed for bankruptcy in October. Of the 699 stores that the company has announced in bankruptcy filings that it is closing, 80 are in Rite Aid’s home state of Pennsylvania. The pharmaceutical company was based in East Pennsboro Township for decades and now calls Philadelphia home.

The 95th Kimberton Community Fair is attracting crowds of loyal followers this week to the fairgrounds on Pike Springs Road. Livestock shows, exhibits, chicken barbeque, music entertainment, carnival rides and games combine with food, a beer garden, contest and raffles, fireworks, and the ever-popular freshly made donuts. RICHMOND, Va.—The defending CAA Football co-champions and last season's automatic bid from the conference to the FCS playoffs is the favorite to finish atop the standings once again in 2024 based on a preseason poll of league head coaches. Villanova was chosen as the CAA Football favorite entering the season after posting 10 wins a year ago and reaching the quarterfinal round of the playoffs. Veteran starting quarterback Connor Watkins was named the CAA Football Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and is one of a league-high six Wildcats who were selected to the CAA Football Preseason All-Conference Team.
