Two individuals from Bloomington, Illinois are accused of possessing and dealing cannabis in Grundy County. Police officials say 42-year-old Felix Rials and 33-year-old Candis Blues were arrested for possessing between 500 and 2000 grams of cannabis and possession with the intent to deliver between 500 and 2000 grams of cannabis.
Aurora Man Arrested By Grundy Proactive Unit in Morris
The Grundy County Proactive Unit arrested a man facing several firearm related offenses. Kevon Jones, 23, of Aurora was charged with the Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition, and Obstructing Justice. He was also wanted on a Kendall County warrant and DuPage County warrant.

The struggle continues for many food franchises as a company that owns many Pizza Hut locations in Illinois has reportedly filed for bankruptcy. Nation's Restaurant News reported today that EYM Pizza L.P. has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the eastern district of Texas Monday. They said this pizza company "operates units in the South and Midwest". According to their corporate site, that includes Pizza Hut locations in Illinois.

Pritzker signed the measure into law last week. Truck rolls over, blocking Route 5 turnpike ramps in Braceville
A truck accident has shut down parts of the Ohio Turnpike interchange at Route 5 in Trumbull County. A tractor-trailer rolled over at around 9 a.m. Tuesday, blocking the westbound ramps. First Responders say the driver got out of the cab. Newton Falls and Braceville firefighters are on the scene.

One Dead, Multiple Injured in Seven-Vehicle Collision in Plainfield Township
A fatal collision involving seven vehicles at the intersection of Northland Drive and Plainfield Avenue in Plainfield Township resulted in multiple injuries and left one person dead yesterday afternoon. The accident occurred before 3:30 p.m., as first reported by FOX 17 News. Michigan State Police informed that a car, while trying to make a left turn onto Plainfield Avenue, sideswiped a number of vehicles before being struck from behind, subsequently colliding with an oncoming vehicle.
Man beaten and robbed outside Chicago City Hall
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Four people beat up and robbed a man near City Hall in the Loop early Tuesday.Police said the 61-year-old man was walking near La Salle and Washington streets around 2:45 a.m., when four people got out of a dark car.One person stole his money and phone at gunpoint. The robbers then beat him, cutting his head and arm.One witness said he saw the moment the group attacked the man."As soon as I started picking up the phone to call the cops by my window, they immediately started going through his pants. The fourth man jumped out, grabbed whatever the other dude handed him, looked at me for a split second, and then immediately they all started going in the car, jumped in, sped off," he said.Police said the Fire Department treated the victim at the scene.No one was in custody Tuesday morning. Area 3 detectives were investigating.
