Hague Historical Society hosts new exhibit
HAGUE | Ginger Kuenzel, President of the Hague Historical Society (HHS), documents the detailed and fascinating history of the speedboat races from 1900-1964 in her new book, THE BUZZ ON LAKE GEORGE. The book serves as the framework for the new exhibit within the HHS museum’s, offering collected stories and memories of the drivers, organizers, and eyewitnesses to the six decades that Lake George was literally buzzing with adventurous water-braving drivers.

Taste of Diamond Point features gourmet food, raffles, live music and community
Lobster rolls, NY Strip steak and shrimp served on skewers, shredded beef tacos with grilled peach and carrot slaw and hefty submarine sandwiches were among the selections at the 14th Annual Taste of Diamond Point held on Saturday, July 20. The event is a fundraiser for Diamond Point Community Church, and the 2024 edition drew a large crowd to the church lawn where they could sample food donated by area restaurants and delicatessens.
