    About State Farmers Market - Raleigh

    Raleigh's State Farmers Market is made up of 5 areas.

    Farmers Building

    30,000 square feet are available for local farmers in North Carolina to offer fresh food, plants, and other specialized things made on regional farms. Local fruits and vegetables are sold all during the growing season, and plants can be purchased beginning in March. The area's freshest and largest selection of produce and plants can be found here.

    Market Shoppes

    This 15,600-square-foot enclosed climate-controlled structure has plenty of space for shopping. Fresh fruit from all over the nation, as well as meats, cheeses, crafts, baked goods, bespoke picture frames, a market grill, and wines from North Carolina, may be found here. Numerous specialty stores are selling vintage delicacies, North Carolina souvenirs, soaps, and lotions.

    Truckers Building

    The drive-through Truckers Building, which has 15,400 square feet of selling space, is ideal for volume buyers. Large quantities of apples, tomatoes, peaches, watermelons, and cantaloupes from North Carolina and other growers throughout the world are handled by the vendors in this building.

    Wholesale Terminal

    The wholesale terminal is where the majority of the produce in the Triangle is purchased. Five wholesalers provide food to supermarkets, eateries, businesses, and roadside markets.

    Unique architectural features, fountains, pots, trellises, water features, furniture, ironwork, stone, teak, pottery, and other interesting objects from throughout the world are spread out over more than two acres.
