The Molly Fitzgerald Memorial Fund has announced the start of "Molly Movie Mania," a series of free family movie screenings taking place on select Fridays throughout the summer. This delightful event kicks off on Friday, July 12th, with a free outdoor showing of the animated film "Elemental" (rated PG) on the Marshfield Town Green.

Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the movie under the stars. In addition to the free screening, popcorn, candy, and beverages will be available for purchase, making it a perfect evening for families to gather and enjoy a community event. The movie will begin at dusk, creating a perfect summer evening for families to gather and enjoy together. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to the following day, Saturday, July 13th.

"Molly Movie Mania" will continue on Friday, August 9th with a showing of "Despicable Me," featuring the voice of Steve Carrell, who is not only a renowned actor but also a resident of Marshfield and the owner of the local Marshfield Hills General Store. The rain date for this screening is August 10th.

This event promises to be a fun and memorable experience for the community, bringing families together to enjoy classic movies in a beautiful outdoor setting.
