Meet The Sweet Puppy Who Loves To Snuggle Now Looking For Love

    2024-07-17

Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based rescue in Massachusetts, has recently introduced Tanker, a 5 1/2-month-old lab mix who is searching for his forever home, and he might just be the perfect addition to your family.

Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. describes Tanker as "a very sweet and mellow pup." Despite his young age, Tanker is expected to grow into a large adult, currently weighing around 35 pounds. While he may be a bit shy, Tanker has a playful side that comes out when he’s outside, enjoying activities like chasing balls and running around with his foster pup siblings.

One of Tanker’s adorable traits is his love for snuggling. According to the rescue, Tanker "LOVES to snuggle and be held like a baby!" This affectionate pup is also good with cats and other dogs, making him a great companion for multi-pet households.

Tanker is still working on house training and may have occasional accidents, but he is making progress. At night, he sleeps well in his crate and responds well to treats, which can be a great motivator for continued training.

Tanker is ready to bring joy and companionship to his forever family. Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. requires that anyone interested in adopting must submit an application to them. As a foster-based rescue, they don’t have a shelter location, and visits with dogs are by appointment only. Their dogs reside in private homes or kennels until adoption. For more information on how to adopt from Sandy Paws Inc., visit their website at https://www.sandypawsmv.com/available-dogs.html.
