Get ready to raise a glass and celebrate at the 15th Annual Thirsty Pilgrim Beer Festival! Taking place on Saturday, September 7th and 8th on the historic Plymouth Waterfront, this festival is sure to be a fun event filled with cold beer, great music, and community!

With live music from a Bavarian band starting at 1 PM both days, you can enjoy your favorite brews while tapping your toes to the beat. And speaking of brews, according to the festival’s website, this year's event will feature many delicious beers, including:

    • Fiddlehead IPA
      • "6.2% abv- A hazy, well-balanced American IPA with mellow bitterness and a dry, refreshing finish."
    • Weihenstephaner’s Festbier
      • "Burnished gold in color with a big fluffy white head, Weihenstephaner’s Festbier often perplexes American drinkers. Most Oktoberfest beers brewed in the US are modeled after classic dark amber Marzens that burst with big bready aromas and rich caramel flavors. Weinhenstephaner’s is an excellent example of the modern Festbier style currently served at Munich’s famous Oktoberfest. While lighter in color, it’s still very flavorful, and its rich honeyed sweetness and a subtle earthy noble hop character make it a refreshing alternative to your run of the mill Marzen. 5.8% ABV 26 IBU"
    • Samuel Adams Octoberfest
      • "In 1810, the Oktoberfest tradition was born when Munich celebrated the Crown Prince’s wedding with a special beer and 16 day party. Our version of this classic style blends hearty malts for a deep, smooth flavor with notes of caramel creating a brew that’s perfect for the season, or whatever you’re celebrating. *5.3% ABV - 4.1% ABW"
    • Truly Hard Seltzer
      • "With naturally sweet strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, Wild Berry is kinda like your best friend Greg. Neighbors love him. Parents respect him. Heck, he was the first one in the group to get a hot tub. So yeah, you could say he’s pretty cool."
        • Serving: 12 oz. slim can
        • ABV: 5%
        • Calories: 100
        • Sugars: 1 g
        • Carbs: 2 g
        • Gluten free
    • Wachusett Blueberry Ale
      • "Our Blueberry Ale defines the style. The slight aroma of blueberry is balanced by a subtle flavor that gets fermented into this delicious wheat ale. It's the perfect, refreshing beer for any season.*4.5% ABV"
    • Bud Light
      • "Bud Light is brewed using a blend of premium aroma hop varieties, both American-grown and imported, and a combination of barley malts and rice. Its superior drinkability and refreshing flavor makes it the world’s favorite light beer."
    • Also Available: Jacks Abby Copper Legend, Michelob Ultra, Red and White wines.

But this festival is more than just an excuse to indulge in some delicious and cold beer. According to the Plymouth Lions Club, which organizes the festival, this event has gone on to not only entertain the local community, but also help the community. The festival's website explains, stating:

"Since its inception, the Thirsty Pilgrim has attracted over 25,000 people and in 2022, raised over $55,000 dollars for local food pantries and Massachusetts Lions Eye Research which has put us over $455,000. The lions are proud that 100% of all money raised from sponsorships and donations go directly to organizations and people in need."
