Get ready for a day of family-friendly farm fun! The Weir River Farm in Hingham is hosting a Fall Festival that has something for everyone, from farm animals and festival games to local vendors and live music. Weir River Farm is a 75-acre working farm that the Wier River passes through at its northwest edge, giving the farm its name. With this stunning property as its backdrop, the Fall Festival at Weir River Farm promises to be an unforgettable celebration of autumn.

"Visit with our farm animals, climb aboard a tractor, and make a farm craft! Play some fun festival games, get a farm tattoo, and enjoy live music! Shop local artisans, eco-friendly vendors, and local eco-partners. Stop by their tables to shop creative, sustainable and eco-friendly products." - Event Details

There will also be a variety of food trucks on-site to satisfy every craving, including Mom on the Go, Just The Dip, KC's Curbside Bistro, and Ellie's Treats ice cream truck. For drink options, there will be two local breweries serving drinks, Stellwagen Beer and Widowmaker Brewing.

The Fall Festival at Weir River Farm will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11 AM to 5 PM, rain or shine. The festival will also include a sensory-friendly hour starting at 10 AM until 11 AM. "This hour is open to all but will offer decreased participant capacity, reduced noise, and other accommodations for individuals living with autism and/or sensory challenges and their families," explains the event details.

Tickets for the Fall Festival at Weir River Farm start at $15 for nonmember adults and $10 for nonmember children, while Trustees members will pay only $9 for adults and $6 for children. The event details explain that admission includes everything except food and beverages and that tickets will be available online and at the door.

"The Fall Festival will take place on the lower portion of our property, near the barnyard and Red Barn. Parking is located in the lot on the upper portion of our property, located across from the Studio at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. To reach the lower event area and barnyard, enter the “chute” directly across from the lot and follow it down to the barnyard. Please note that it can be difficult to push strollers up and down the chute and we highly recommend carriers in lieu of strollers." - Event Details
