Today in history: 'carbon bisulphid' will remove ants
Help for the Cadillac citizens whose lawns or houses are infested with ants has been offered by W.F. Johnston, county agricultural agent. Mr. Johnston advises the use of carbon bisulphid, which is procurable at any drug store, but urges great caution in the handling of the liquid, which is very inflammable and explosive.
Beverly Jean Regts
Beverly Jean Regts of Cadillac passed away Saturday morning, June 29, 2024, at her home, after an extensive and courageous battle with cancer. She was 68 years old. Bev was born November 19, 1955, in Zeeland, Michigan to William J. and Anna Mae (Driesenga) Aukeman. On July 23, 1977, she married John M. Regts who preceded her in death on November 18, 2001. Bev's life was a testament to the power of meaningful relationships, steadfast faith, inner reflection, and a commitment to being present and intentional in all of life's endeavors.
