Interlochen man dies after van smashes through guardrail, lands in river
MESICK — A fatal crash closed eastbound and westbound M-115 between Hodenpyl Dam Road and M-37 in Wexford County. According to a press release from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Department, at about 3:28 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of W. M-115 and Simmons Street at the Manistee River in Springville Township.

For years, people in Cadillac called the library asking about writing groups and resources but there weren’t many options. Until March of 2023, when Library Director Tracy Logan, decided to start her own adult writing group at the library.
