In the two-hour Season 3 finale, Shane is in the hot seat as Mackenzie chooses herself as the guesser. Ultimately, he is eliminated when Mackenzie accurately identifies his celebrity relative as the late actor Marlon Brando , who just so happens to be his grandfather!

Throughout the season, Shane dropped several hints about his famous family member. He mentioned that they're best known for being an Oscar-winning actor and revealed at that he spent at least one of his childhood birthdays at Neverland Ranch. Additionally, Shane shared that he once had dinner with Elizabeth Taylor, further alluding to his relative's connection to old Hollywood.

Shane spoke exclusively with 'Distractify' about competing on 'Claim to Fame.'

Following Shane's elimination on Claim to Fame , he spoke exclusively with Distractify, sharing his thoughts on the most surprising aspects of filming the show and revealing what it was like growing up with Marlon Brando. Read on for our Q&A with Shane!

Q: Up until right before the guess-off, it seemed like Mackenzie was on board with Adam being the guesser. What do you think changed her mind?

A: I honestly don't believe Mackenzie ever intended on having Adam be the guesser. She played a very strong but paranoid game. She was always very nervous of being guessed and there was no convincing her Adam had no clue who she was, and believe me I tried!

Q: What were you thinking when Mackenzie correctly guessed your relative after she and Hud looked at your wine bottle clue?

A: The second Mackenzie called me up I knew my time was up. I did all the campaigning I possibly could to try and convince Mackenzie to let Adam be the guesser but there was no reassuring her that Adam had no clue who she was. When Mackenzie said my relative’s name and it was right I was actually kind of relieved. By this point in the game my brain was so fried and I had been playing so hard, that it was like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders.

Q: Your grandfather is arguably one of the most famous celebrity relatives from this season. What was it like growing up with Marlon Brando for a grandpa?

A: My Grandfather was the most amazing person I've ever known. Yes, my grandpa was a very private person, but when it came to family, he was so loving. I would always visit him on holidays as well as just random days during the week when my dad would take me with him to his house. He taught me so much and was always so supportive.

Q: Did you ever consider following in your famous grandfather's footsteps?

A: I have always been obsessed with film and have always dreamed of pursuing acting fully. I did get my Master's equivalent in Fine Arts Theater through the same school my grandpa went to. Stella Adler was his teacher and her grandson now runs the school that I attended. Other than being on Claim to Fame , acting was one of my most favorite experiences I've been able to do. It is still a dream of mine to get back into it, but I guess only time will tell.

Q: Was there ever a point during the season where you thought someone might figure you out?

A: Going into the house I was 100 percent positive that unless my clue got pulled early or my big mouth got me into trouble like one of my castmates, that there was no way I would be figured out. Now, that being said, I think I almost swallowed my tongue when Mackenzie and Hud said my Grandpa's name in Episode 2. I never actually prepared myself for hearing his name in the house and scared the shit out of me, but I think I played it off pretty well.

Q: You and Danny had a solid alliance and friendship going until he was eliminated — who are you still close to from Claim to Fame ?

A: I'd like to think that I'm still pretty close with everyone from the house, but I do have to say that I think Danny and Naomi are the ones I talk to the most. I think we truly played the game the hardest and had the most to offer to the house. But as we see, I guess it pays more to be lucky than good.

Q: Where do you think your game went wrong before you were in the guess-off?

A: I have thought about this so much! If I were actually able to convince Mackenzie that Adam didn't know who her relative was, which he didn't, if I didn't convince Adam that I knew who his relative is so that I could have put him against Mackenzie. Hud was down to vote any way I wanted him to, so I could have put myself as the guesser, but I still would've been wrong.

Q: For you, what was the most surprising part about filming a reality show like this?

A: How much fun it was and how close I got with my castmates so fast. This was the most amazing experience of my life! I had so much fun and loved every second of it. I don't regret anything and wish I could do it all again.
