Katie recently posted an Instagram photo of her with Monique Samuels ' ex-husband. However, after the post went viral, Katie profusely apologized to her ex co-star.

Katie Rost suggested she and Chris Samuels are dating in an August 2024 Instagram post.
On Aug. 29, Katie shocked Housewives fans by hinting that she and Chris are in a new relationship. They looked smitten as they smiled while embracing each other in a parking lot. In addition to the cozy photo, Katie shared that she took her shot with the recently single father of three.
"I flirt hard and when I see a good one; I go for it," Katie captioned the photo. When Mr. S steps into the building, Katie says, 'Oh yes,' he is such an incredible human #katievibes ( thanks for welcoming me back to Potomac ). Side note, all clothes are Marc Jacobs for me. "
Underneath Katie's comments were opinions from many Bravo fans. Some compared it to The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino's scandalous engagement to John Janssen after John broke up with Alexis's co-star, Shannon Beador . Others warned Katie not to get "caught up in no mess," since there's documented evidence Monique can fight, referencing her Season 5 fight with Candiace Dillard-Bassett that led to Monique getting fired from the show.

Katie Rost said she's never dated Chris after their Instagram post went viral.
Soon after Katie posted the photo of her and Chris, the internet ran amuck. In addition to the extra attention on Katie's Instagram account, several outlets (us included, obvs) discussed the story. After seeing the chatter, Katie retracted her initial post and apologized to Monique on Instagram. In one post, she reposted Page Six 's article about the photo and captioned it, "Wow, um, wow." Katie followed up with another post from an outlet discussing the photo and denied ever taking things too far with Chris.
"I didn't do anything wrong," she wrote.
To further prove she's not interested in Chris, Katie posted an article praising Monique and her time on RHOP , calling her co-star "super down to Earth" and a "breath of fresh air." She then addressed Monique in her caption and claimed she never dated Chris nor had a physical relationship with him, but she did flirt with him, which she also said was wrong.
"Mo, I’m your girl," Katie wrote to Monique. "I would never. And you totally understand that this is b---s--t. I’m home. I hope to see you, and I would NEVER have sex with Chris. I am deeply sorry [for] saying I flirted with him, which I did. "Dude, you know me."
Monique has yet to respond to Katie's posts, though many in Katie's comments pointed out Monique isn't following her on Instagram, although she has probably seen her and Chris's photo. Nonetheless, Monique has been living her best, single life since she and Chris finalized their divorce in September 2023 after ten years and three children .
Monique didn't appreciate him. Maybe another woman will. Chris's mom was right about Monique!
