BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move across areas north of Bangor thru mid-morning then we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds for today with a chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm this afternoon. It’ll be hot and humid with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s along the coast and mid-80s to low 90s inland. Dew points will be in the upper 60s to low 70s which will make it feel like it in the low to mid-90s for interior locations. An upper level disturbance crossing the area tonight will give us a chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be warm tonight with lows in the mid-60s to low 70s. Patchy fog is likely tonight as well.

Sept. 24 disposition hearing set for alleged BBH shooter
A Sept. 30 disposition hearing is set for a Boothbay Harbor man allegedly involved in a March 19, 2023 shooting incident at Campbell Creek Housing Complex. Matthew A. Plummer, 42, faces three felony charges stemming from his alleged involvement in the shooting incident.
