Week one of the high school football season has arrived and students across the Upper Cumberland are showing school spirit more than ever. Monterey High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Benjamin Novak said the excitement for the start of the season is contagious amongst students. Motorcyclist killed in head-on crash with SUV on Peachers Mill Road
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcyclist has died after a head-on collision Thursday evening on Peachers Mill Road. At approximately 6:35 p.m., the motorcycle and SUV crashed on Peachers Mill at Allen Griffey Road. The motorcyclist was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter, but has since died of his injuries, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.
