Gillette city facilities to close for Labor Day
GILLETTE, Wyo. — With the holiday weekend almost here, there are several facility closures across Gillette to be aware about this Labor Day. The City of Gillette said in a press release Thursday afternoon that city facilities will be shuttered for the holiday, meaning no trash collection would take place on Monday, Sept. 2. On the following Tuesday after the long weekend, though, the city said solid waste collection crews would run a “double route” to collect trash, recycling and yard waste for all routes.

WILSON, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) put its RECCO Long Range Helicopter Device to use during a rescue training exercise on Monday, Aug. 26.
