Woodstock 5K: Run and Win the Alabama Championship
ANNISTON — The 43rd annual Woodstock 5K will again serve as the Alabama 5K Championship, as sanctioned by the Road Runners Club of America. The Woodstock 5K is scheduled for Aug. 3 at Anniston High School along Woodstock Avenue It has played host for 17 RRCA championship races, including six national championships, five regional championships and six state championships. The race is organized by the Anniston Runners Club, a local non-profit organization.

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - While our stent of cooler temperatures may soon be coming to an end, Wednesday and Thursday are bringing more than just unseasonably cool temperatures. We’re expecting more rain through Wednesday morning that will increase our localized flooding risks. Highs today linger in the mid to lower 80s. Heavy cloud cover and persistent rain and storms throughout the morning and parts of the afternoon put a lid on the highs from pretty early on in the day.
