SCC hosting Agriculture Day on April 19

Surry Community College is hosting an Agriculture Day for local high schools students. The event will be held on April 19, from 9 a.m. to noon in the courtyard of the Dobson campus. Students and all community members are welcome.

The event will include agricultural presentation for students, a petting zoo, and a cash-only plant sale. There will also be music, games, food, and giveaways for attendees.

Surry offers a diploma and certificate in applied animal science technology and a certificate in sustainable agriculture. The college offers a degree and several certificates in viticulture and enology. Check surry.edu for additional information.
