Weather choosing not to cooperate
It is still early in the summer but it is looking like the weather has already chosen not to cooperate with outdoor activities and construction work. Dodge Center celebrated Dodger Days last weekend and while the rain did not cancel the celebration, it did put a damper on some of the activities especially the rain on Saturday afternoon.

The Region Ten Dairy Princess Contest will be held on Saturday, June 22, 1974, at the Holiday Inn South, in Rochester. Three candidates from each of the eight southeastern Minnesota counties, which comprise Region Ten, will compete for the honor currently held by KathiSiewert of Lake City. The winner will compete with girls from the other ten regions at the Minnesota State Fair for the title of Princess Kay of the Milky Way.
