A 28-year-old Georgia pilot was uninjured Sunday after making an emergency landing in a farm field in Dodge County, sheriff’s officials said.

The man was traveling back to Georgia from the EAA show in Oshkosh when he began losing power to his single-engine plane, officials said. The pilot of a second plane traveling with the disabled aircraft also landed safely in the field to check on the first pilot’s safety.

Dodge County deputies received numerous reports at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday of a plane flying low that sounded as though it was having engine problems. A deputy with Dodge County and a Horicon Police officer both responded to the area of Raasch Hill Road and County Hwy. TW in the town of Hubbard.

    No property damage was reported.
