(WLUK) -- Most sunny days in Northeast Wisconsin have clear blue skies, or maybe some clouds here and there. But sometimes there's a hint of haze. That's because of wildfires in Western Canada. However, this summer, the fires have not impacted our air quality as much as in the past.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) - The Wisconsin DNR and the La Crosse Parks Department are working to create new bat houses near the bridge at Pettibone Park. “They gave a small short presentation with some information to the parks board meeting. We took it to our parks board for final approval to make sure everyone in that realm of the world was supportive of the project, and everyone was. The parks board had the opportunity to ask questions, and I don’t believe there were too many.
