The Los Angeles Dodgers will finally be getting their All-Star third baseman back.

On Friday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told MLB Network Radio that Muncy will return to the Dodgers on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners. Muncy, who’s been out since May 15 with a lingering oblique injury, is finally healthy and ready to return to the Dodgers.

“Muncy is with Tommy (Edman) rehabbing with that OKC team and he will be back with us Tuesday,” Roberts told MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM. “He’ll play through the weekend, have Monday off, and be back in the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.”

This is a massive development for the Dodgers, who have struggled to produce offense from the hot corner since Muncy’s injury. Muncy slashed .223/323./475 with nine home runs and 28 RBIs across 40 games this season. In his absence, Dodgers third baseman have slashed .210/.293/.351 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs across 77 games.

    Muncy had a 117 wRC+ and a 1.1 fWAR in 44 games. Dodgers third baseman have a combined 84 wRC+ and 0.1 fWAR since May 16.

Muncy locking down third base will be a massive boost to L.A.’s offense. The Dodgers can trot out a lineup that looks something like this, especially with the arrival of Tommy Edman next week, too.

    Potential Dodgers Lineup

    1. Shohei Ohtani, DH
    2. Mookie Betts, RF
    3. Freddie Freeman, 1B

    6. Will Smith, C
    7. Gavin Lux, 2B
