Wounded & Weak Puppy ‘Milky’ Finds a New Life in Paris

A wounded and weak puppy, who now goes by the name Milky Freckles, found a second shot at life in Paris after rescue. Little Steps Matter, a non-profit organization in Bali, Indonesia, that helps in dog adoptions, rescued the dog in July 2023 after finding her in a pitiful condition. Additionally, the puppy suffered a complex skin condition besides being in a terrible health condition. She also had multiple badly infected artificial wounds that became severely infected and excruciatingly painful abscesses.

A video posted by @littlestepsmatter on Instagram depicts Milky’s journey since her rescue. The post documents the wounded and weak puppy’s second shot at life as she receives the required care and nurturing. Fast forward nine months, and the dog found a home in Paris with Lauren and a dog sibling, Blue. The new family also shares an Instagram account, @milky_and_blues_adventures .

Rescue pup with life-threatening diseases moves to Paris after adoption

Milky was suffering from life-threatening diseases and wounds when the Little Steps Matter organization found her. The video shows members of the non-profit organization rescuing a wounded, weak puppy in July 2023, who would later find a second shot at life. The puppy suffered from a complex skin condition and had badly infected artificial wounds and hurtful abscesses on her body. She was later diagnosed with the life-threatening parvovirus.

However, this journey is about survival and hope, and Milky clung to life, fighting all threats with a little bit of help. Krista, one of the Little Steps Matter organization members, and her family took in the rescue puppy . They nurtured her thoroughly until she regained full health in Krista’s foster care. Nine months later, a dog mom from Paris, Lauren, adopted Milky.

The caption for the post reveals that Lauren had waited to unite with Milky Freckles ever since she was a pup. The dog mom met the once wounded and weak rescue puppy after months and gave her a second shot at life. The official adoption took place on May 3, per the bio of the @milky_and_blues_adventures Instagram account. Milky also has a dog sibling, Little Boy Blue, Lauren’s first adopted pup.

As seen in Instagram posts, Milky recently spent time in the French countryside. She also loves to spend time with her brother Blue on colorful couches, visiting beaches, or chilling by the poolside.
