While playing with the puppies, Paulson claimed the best behind-the-scenes memory from the film was bringing her dogs to the set every day. She is a dog mother to three canines. “As you can tell I have a problem,” she added, looking down at the five puppies playing about. The Tony Award winner once again insisted, “I think I died. I really do,” while the puppies played on her lap.

Paulson later asked BuzzFeed about the dogs, and an animal shelter rep confirmed the pups are 100% mixed breed.

In fact, the “Hold Your Breath” actor was relieved that she wasn’t returning home after the interview because her own dogs wouldn’t have been happy. Perhaps the most heartwarming moment was when a puppy fell asleep in Paulson’s arms as she held the small, furry friend to her chest. She called it “outrageous” before exclaiming, “This dog is coming home with me.”

Lastly, Sarah Paulson had a heartfelt message for viewers, announcing that the “perfect” puppies are up for adoption at Northshore Animal League America .
