Actually we lived with our own parents until we moved into our apartment together. We didn't ask them to help us. In fact, they never came to our apartment to visit, we went home to visit them. But leaving to raise a kid isn't hard to just as parents has done for millions of years before someone decided to write a book. No one can tell you how to raise your kid because every kid is different and has to be treated according to their own individual personality which the only person who can figure that out is the person that spends the most time with them.
