Ottumwa police arrest suspect after man found dead from stab wound
OTTUMWA, Iowa — An Ottumwa man was booked into jail early Tuesday morning after a deadly stabbing. According to Ottumwa police, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at Foster Park shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday. Police found Jeffrey Wayne Johns, 40, of Ottumwa, with a stab wound to his torso. Johns was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
