Morial Convention Center Saturday for the COMMUNITY AND FAMILY DAY EXPO that will provide a day of fun, information and school supplies from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information on topics including nutrition, fashion, beauty and building wealth will be part of the day, as well as performances by the Beyjorettes, Outrage and Jiggaerobics, plus legal advice, a Black-owned marketplace, college information and investing. Baton Rouge, LA – Bally’s Corporation has announced a definitive merger agreement with Standard General L.P., its largest stockholder, to acquire the company’s outstanding shares for $18.25 per share. This transaction, valued at approximately $4.6 billion, represents a 71% premium over Bally’s 30-day volume weighted average price prior to Standard General’s initial acquisition proposal.
