Bader’s Fine Furniture, a family-owned business since 1890, has announced its closure. The store, a community staple since the late 1800s, has been managed by the Shebelsky family since 1953.

Under the current owner Sherri Shebelsky's guidance, the store at 704 North Liberty Street will begin liquidating its inventory. Starting January 11, a farewell sale offers 30-50% discounts on furniture and home accessories.

Reflecting on the years, Shebelsky emphasizes the community's support as a cornerstone of the store’s longevity. The closure marks the end of a significant era for the local community.

The iconic building at the corner of Route 61 and Liberty Street is now for sale, poised for a new chapter in its history. This marks the end of an era for Bader’s, a name synonymous with quality furniture and deep community ties.
