Why You Shouldn't Interfere in Other People's Suffering: Buddhist Wisdom

People often have a desire to intervene in the lives of others, to help them with their problems, even when they are not asked to do so. However, there is deep wisdom in recognizing the importance of giving people the space to solve their problems on their own.

At the core of this view is a fundamental life principle: the inalienable right of every person to make decisions about his own life, including how he faces challenges.

Buddhist wisdom offers a profound insight into the nature of suffering and emphasizes the importance of not interfering with the suffering of others. At the core of this philosophy is the understanding that suffering is an inevitable part of life, and that each person bears their share of pain and difficulties.

Buddhism states that accepting suffering as an integral part of life promotes a deeper understanding of oneself, the development of one's inner strength and independence. Each person is unique and experiences their own suffering and trials. The path to liberation from suffering and happiness lies in how a person learns to cope with problems, let go of the situation and live in accordance with the lessons and experiences received.

Another key tenet of Buddhism is that each person is responsible for their own path to liberation from suffering. Interference from others can disrupt this path, as what worked for one person may be ineffective or even harmful to another.

Trying to change or eliminate someone else's difficulties can cause more harm than good. Even with the purest intentions, interfering with the suffering of others carries the risk of inadvertently affecting their lives, and not always for the better. By giving unsolicited advice, you interfere with the Divine plan and script of another person's destiny.

    In Buddhism it is said:

"Never interfere in someone else's suffering.

A person must get tired of himself and drink his due cup of poison. Do not be overconfident and do not hope that you can help someone. You can only help someone who is ready to help. A person who suffers sees the world through his pain, which means he is deaf and blind. Everyone drags his life experience along with him, not seeing that it is a dead weight that lies on his shoulders. If you try to interfere with someone else's suffering, it will drag you into someone else's game with a karmic whirlwind.

Man is contagious with his suffering – remember this. Go your own way and do not look back at people’s pain. Only if you go your own way, you can help people to surpass themselves.”

    Buddhist wisdom

Essentially, when difficult situations arise in a person’s life, they are given the opportunity to demonstrate their resilience, gain valuable experience, and learn important lessons. These experiences contribute to their personal growth, helping them to realize their potential and ultimately create the life they want to lead.

What do you think about this? Do you agree with what was said? Do you often interfere in the lives of others?
