Las Cruces Parks & Rec Offers Fall Break Camp for K-5 Students Starting Sept. 23
As the autumn leaves begin to decorate the sidewalks of Las Cruces, the City's Parks and Recreation Department is prepping up for a lively Fall Break Camp for young students. Scheduled from Monday, Sept. 23 through Friday, Oct. 4, the camp caters to children enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade, providing a safe and engaging space during the schools’ Fall Break and Intersession. According to the City of Las Cruces, camp hours will extend from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., ensuring a full day of activities and care.
Food preservation equipment will soon be available to rent for free in Albuquerque

Starting Sept. 3, the Bernalillo County Extension Office will allow community members to check out a food processor, dehydrator, pressure canner, boiling water bath canner, and fermentation equipment for free.
