HEAT SAFETY: A Reminder As The Heat Wave Rolls On
Temperatures have peaked at or above 90 degrees in Louisville a total of 40 times this year: once in May, 12 times in June, 15 times in July, and 12 times so far in August. And we expect to do it every day until the end of the month. As of right now, we are just a few days above the norm for 90 degree days over the 4 month period; however, this next heat wave will take us well-above normal. With all that said, here are some reminders of how to be safe in this upcoming week's brutal heat.
