Humboldt County Woman Found Dead in Ukiah Creek
A 41-year-old woman from Arcata was found deceased in a Ukiah creek bed last Thursday, August 22, 2024, in what authorities are investigating as a fatal hit-and-run collision. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Ukiah Office issued a press release stating that officers were called to investigate “a hit-and-run collision on US-101 northbound, south of Lake Mendocino Drive, resulting in the death of a female pedestrian.” The woman was identified as Aimee R.
