Keokuk, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of a Keokuk man on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. According to a news release, 61-year-old David Alan Londrie of Keokuk was arrested Tuesday, July 2nd, and charged with Possession with the intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, Iowa drug tax stamp violation, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chief Davis provides update on fire that destroyed Jamesport Country Store
A fire early Monday consumed the contents and metal structure of the Jamesport Country Store. Chief Davie Davis of Jamesport Fire and Rescue reported that the business burned to the ground. He noted that the structure was halfway engulfed by the time the first fire crew arrived at the scene on Route NN, off Highway 6. The business was closed when the fire was reported to 911 at about 1 a.m.
44-year-old woman drowns at Jefferson County summer camp
DITTMER, Mo. — A woman drowned on Sunday at a Jefferson County summer camp for people with developmental disabilities, authorities said. A spokesperson for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said emergency crews responded to Sunnyhill at 6555 Sunlit Way in Dittmer, where they found 44-year-old Martha Boland unresponsive in a pool.
